I have tried a lot of makeup products throughout the years, and these are four products I think you could skip on! I love these brands, but not all brands have a constant line of makeup. Continue reading to see what I would pass on purchasing.
SMASHBOX Photo Matte Eyes Palette
This isn’t necessarily a bad product, but I have used so many eyeshadow palettes that cost less money and have much better quality. Some of the colors are very pretty, but I do not recommend purchasing these palettes when there are so many better ones on the market.
URBAN DECAY Naked Heat Palette
I have been a big fan of Naked palettes since the beginning of my makeup career. My favorite palette is the original which is being discontinued (why Urban Decay?!?), and I have enjoyed all the different varieties they have come out with, except for Heat. I love a warm eye and I thought some of the colors in the palette were very pretty, but something about this palette didn’t work for me. I never reached for this palette and after a while it ended up at the back of my drawer. With so many awesome naked palettes there is no need to buy this one.
*I also do not like the Naked Smokey Palette, but I am fairly certain it is being discontinued.
URBAN DECAY Quick Fix Hydracharged Complexion Prep Priming Spray
I always prime my skin before applying my makeup. I saw this Urban Decay spray one day when I was in Sephora and decided to try the sample size. I am really glad I only got the sample, because this product is useless. It smells somewhat gross and does nothing for my skin or makeup. I think this product is a waste of money.
GLAMGLOW GRAVITYMUD™ Firming Treatment
I love a face mask, but this is one I would definitely skip on. I love the entire Glam Glow brand and for the most part they have really good face masks, but the Gravity Mud in particular is a waste of money. I have used this mask multiple times and I never see any results. Even though it is cute for a photo opportunity, save your money.
