In the Garden: Herbs and Flowers I Have Planted

No better way to celebrate Earth Day than making a post about my garden! Quarantine has brought out my inner green thumb and sparked a new hobby. I wanted a few herbs for cooking, but a few turned into 12 different herbs and a few flowers. My collection is small but mighty! Keep reading to see pictures and details of my new favorite activity.

Over the course of quarantine I have planted 12 different types of herbs…lavender, sweet mint, spearmint, sweet basil, Thai basil, hot and spicy oregano, regular oregano, cilantro, curly parsley, flat Italian parsley, sage, and rosemary. All around my main herb garden I planted kimono flowers to colorfully line the area. I also have a key lime tree soaking up the sun in the back yard.

My favorite part about the whole garden is being able to package up my herbs to share with some of my favorite people

Last but certainly not least, a succulent potted by my mom, the ultimate gardener

Happy gardening and happy Earth Day!

XOXO!
